2017 Dove Hunt Rules: Sign-up is AUG 14 -AUG 31 for SEPT 9 & SEPT 16 Hunts

EBA 2017 Dove Hunt Rules 

• Dove Hunt will be held on September 9th and 16th from 1 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. 
• Hunt is open to current EBA families including staff, students, EBA Alumni and parents and grandparents of those students who have attended EBA in the past.

• Eligible hunters will have from August 14th to 31st to call the school or come in and submit their name and phone number for a position and specify for one or both days of the hunts or if they would like to be on a standby list if they are not drawn for a hunting position. There will be 35 positions for each hunt. Contact/ speak directly to Mrs. Jill Syms, Kindergarten Office Receptionist, at (706) 554-4479. Mrs. Syms’ office is located the kindergarten building.
• A random drawing will be held after August 31st to choose those who will have a position for each hunt.

• All hunters drawn for a position must be present in the hunting position the day of the hunt. Positions may not be given to those other than the person it was assigned to.

• Positions will be $100 each. Payment by check/check-in will be on the day of the hunt by 1 pm. Checks will be made out to EBA and given to Bo Blanchard who will be in charge of the hunt. Please Memo on the check “EBA Dove Hunt”. Any drawn hunter who has not checked in and paid by 1 p.m. on the day of the hunt will forfeit their position and it will be drawn for out of the standby list. 
• A random drawing the day of the hunt will choose the position number to be taken by each hunter. There will be a map showing hunters the locations of the numbered positions.

• All those required to have a hunting license must possess a hunting license to shoot. All game laws are to be followed at all times.
All hunters under the age of 16 yrs old must be accompianied by an adult in the blind and may not hunt alone. All hunters 16 yrs and above may hunt by themselves.

• A maximum of 4 persons per position/blind, 2 guns maximum per position/blind. 

• A maximum of 25 birds per hunting position/blind in total can be taken if there is more than 1 shooter in the position. 

• Hunters are welcome to bring personal blinds to set up after the position drawing the day of the hunt and remove after the hunt is over. Personal Golf Carts welcome for hunter’s transportation.
• Privately Owned Vehicles will be parked behind home side football bleachers.
