Elementary
In grades 1-4, the traditional disciplines of language art, mathematics, social studies, and science, plus physical education, art and music provide a solid educational foundation.
Students continue a Saxon phonics curriculum with numerous chapter books and supplementary readers. Students also participate in Accelerated Reader, an accelerated reading program designed to encourage students to develop a love for reading.
Georgia history and communities are stressed in third grade. U.S. and regional history are emphasized in fourth grade. Saxon math, which is taught through high school, stresses learning new mathematical concepts in small increments while constantly reinforcing previously covered lessons.
