New Scholarships Jan 23, 2012

Jefferson Energy is offering a scholarship. Scholarship application is available to anyone served by Jefferson Energy. Stop by the guidance office.

Walter Harrison Scholarship Available: Must be served by Planters EMC. Applications have been given out at school. Deadline: February 3rd, 2012.

Planters EMC scholarship available; complete an application on line at www.plantersemc.com. Go to Forms, and scroll down to Planters EMC Scholarship application. After completion on line, make a copy, and submit it to Planters. Scholarships will be awarded by drawing. Some $30,000 was awarded in this way last year.

Remain alert for many scholarship opportunities.

North GA Military Scholarship Jan 12, 2012

Seniors, take note.North GA College has 42 GA Military Scholarships to award to high school seniors. These are FULL scholarships that pay for room, meals, tuition, fees, books, and uniforms for all four years at N. GA College. The deadline is March 10th. As of yesterday, they had 15 applilcations for the 42 scholarships. Are you interested?
There is a military obligation with the Army national guard.To qualify: Must apply and be accepted at N. GA College: 3.0 GPA and minimum SAT scores of 440 Math and 480 critical reading.

Georgia Southern Scholarships Jan 12, 2012

Scholars Day at GSU is Feb. 24, 25 By invitation only; must have a 1200 Critical Reading/math score or a 27 ACT. You must fill out a scholarship application by Feb. 1st. Go on line to do this.

To be eligible for the GSU Leadership Scholarship; one must have a 1100 SAT or 24 ACT. Fill out the scholarship application by Feb. 1st. Must have had leadership roles in high school.

The Exchange Club Scholarship Jan 12, 2012

February 22, 2012, is the deadline for the Exchange Club Scholarship Application. The Exchange Club gives one $1500 scholarship to one of our Students of the Month (Must fill out an application, etc.) and usually at least one more $1000 scholarship. Don't miss this opportunity.

For Juniors Only: The Washington Youth Tour Jan 12, 2012

A representative from Planters EMC visited us to talk with juniors about the Washington Youth Tour. This is an all expenses paid trip to Washington DC for summer, 2012. This is a competition, and an essay must be written. All juniors have the required information. In addition to the free trip comes a 1000 dollar scholarship which will be awarded to our schools participant. 3 students will be chosen. All 3 could be from EBA. Don't miss this opportunity.

Scholarship Available Jan 12, 2012

A Scholarship offered by the Constitutional Officers Association of Georgia is available.
      Details: To participate, student must be planning to major in a degree field related to government/law enforcement, political science, accounting/finance or business, or pre-law.
      Deadline: April 1, 2012
      A 1000 word essay is required.
      Value of Scholarship: $1000    2 will be offered in the state of GA
